I heard that Paypal requires customers to sign up online. Is that true? |

Some site owners do not like the idea of having their customers sign up online during the checkout process, as many think that the registration part is troublesome.
Indeed, this is not true. During the checkout process of Paypal payment, customers are offered the option to sign up for Paypal when they pay by credit cards. However, it is not mandatory for the customers to do so.
On the default payment page, customers will see 2 options whereby they can make payment:
1) For customers with Paypal accounts, they can log in and transfer the fund from their paypal account.
2) For new customers without paypal acocunts, they can make payment by credit cards.
